Gourmet Sailing · Cyclades, Greece
Exclusive experiences aboard a sailing yacht, with a professional chef running the galley. Dinners at anchor, sunsets offshore, the catch of the day on the grill — across the finest Cycladic islands.
This isn't a floating resort. It's real sailing, real food, real guests.
Who we are
Mediterranean Dream was born from a choice: at 60, we let everything go to live the sea, every day. On board you'll find two real people — Maurizio and Sveta — their cooking, their hospitality and the freedom to draw your own route. You control the itinerary, guided in complete safety. Small numbers, obsessive care, memories that last.

What to expect
Our cabins are the cabins of a real 41-foot sailing yacht: essential, not extra-large. On board you live in cosy spaces, close together, truly sharing the sea. If you're looking for a suite with a view, we're not the right fit. If you're looking for real sea, Sveta's cooking, and the feeling of actually being under sail, you're in the right place.
Mediterranean Dream is made for people who want to live the sea, not just look at it from an oversized deck. If you're after a mega yacht with a large crew and every comfort, there are great options out there — they're just not us.
The experiences
The table set at sunset, anchored in a silent bay. The chef's menu built on fresh Cycladic produce.
Sails out as the sun drops over the Aegean. A glass in hand and nothing around but the sea.
Catch your own fish and grill it right on the boat. An experience no standard cruise can offer.
A professional chef on board: fine dishes even in tight spaces, paired with the island's wines and flavours.
Naxos, Paros, the Small Cyclades and the bays the guidebooks never mention. You choose, we sail.
Sleep rocked by the waves, wake in a deserted cove. The slow rhythm of the sea, far from the crowds.
Golden Hour
Golden Hour: two or three hours, a sunset aperitivo by Sveta, the sun going down over the Aegean, and you on board a real sailing yacht. No need for a free weekend — just one evening.
What's included
It's the easiest way to discover who we are, maybe before joining us for a longer cruise. But even on its own, a golden hour at sea is still a golden hour.

Multi-day cruises
Our multi-day cruises are our most immersive experience: whole days lived on board, often almost private, with the time to truly fall into the rhythm of the sea. No rush, no printed itinerary — just you, the crew, and a course we chart together, day by day.
Here, sailing takes centre stage
Over several days, sailing isn't a detail: it's the heart of it. You'll feel the wind shift, learn to read the sea, hoist a sail, hold a course. We're not a school, but everyone who steps ashore after a cruise with us takes home something real: the feeling of having truly sailed, not simply been taken for a ride.
The group that books first sets the tone: intimate and private, like a boat almost all your own.
Real days under sail, not motor transfers from one photo-stop to the next.
Anyone who wants to can take the helm and the sheets, and learn one move at a time.
Tailor-made · no packages
Pick your islands, set how many nights on each, draw your own route across the Cyclades. Svetlana's signature cuisine at every stop.

How we live the sea
On our multi-day cruises there's no printed itinerary or schedule to follow. We chart the course together, day by day, following the wind and the mood of the moment.
We're not a sailing school. But if you want to understand what it means to feel the wind, read the sea, hoist a sail — we're happy to show you, one moment at a time.
In the galley we decide together with you — what to cook, what to discover. But the hand is Sveta's, a professional chef, turning every choice into the best possible dish.

Who's with you
You won't just find a crew. You'll find Maurizio and Sveta, who'll share their story while you share yours. We're not just here to take you sailing — we're here to share something real, in great company.
On board, we laugh, we joke, we live. The stories come out on their own, somewhere between a glass of wine and a tack — we don't serve them up like homework you have to sit through.

Co-founder of the project
And often you'll also find Francesco: a dear friend and a fun travel companion, the one who keeps the energy and the laughs going like no one else — and, when needed, sorts out any hiccup on board just as easily as he cracks a joke.
We don't treat guests as customers to serve. Whoever comes aboard, for those hours or those days, becomes part of our crew — just like Francesco, who isn't officially the chef or the skipper, but is one of us all the same. That's the level of authenticity that sets us apart: we're not playing a part, we're letting you into ours.
How to book
How it works: whoever books first decides. Want the boat almost all to yourselves, a more intimate experience? It's yours. Prefer to share it, meet new people, feel more energy on board? That's in our spirit too, and the cost goes down for everyone. There's no right or wrong number — just the way you want to experience the sea.
Weather and safety
We're a real sailing yacht, not a stabilized platform. That means, sometimes, the sea decides instead of us. If weather conditions don't allow safe sailing on the day of your trip, we'll reschedule at no extra cost, or refund you in full. We never compromise on safety — not even to avoid disappointing a guest. That's part of what we mean by real sailing.
How it works
The decision is made by Maurizio, as skipper, by the morning of the scheduled day, based on the latest forecast. If we need to cancel, we'll reach out as soon as possible to offer a new date or process a refund, whichever you prefer.
Bookings
Tell us your dates and what you dream of: we'll build your Cycladic experience together. We reply personally to every request.
